KARNATAKA GUARANTEE OF SERVICES TO CITIZENS ACT - 2011
A Bill has been passed by the Karnataka State Legislature to provide guarantee of services to citizens in the State of Karnataka within the stipulated time limit and for matters connected therewith and incidental to. This Act is called the Karnataka Guarantee of Services Act, 2011.

ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯಾಗಿ 1995 ರಲ್ಲಿ ಪುನರಚನೆಯಾಯಿತು.. ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಕಡೂರಿನಿಂದ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುವ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ 234 ಕೆ.ಎಂ. ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು ಚಿಕ್ಕಮಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 30 ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. 2011 ರ ಜನಗಣತಿಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 9667 ಜನಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 11 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದು 11 ಚುನಾಯಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ 3 ನಾಮನಿರ್ದೇಶಿತ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯು ಒಟ್ಟು 3.5 ಚದುರ ಕೀಲೋಮೀಟರ್ ಗಳಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರು ಕ್ರಿ.ಶ. 11ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ತಲೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದರು. ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರದು ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕಿನ ಅಂಗಡಿಯ ಬಳಿ ಸೊಸೆವೂರು, ಶಶಕಪುರ ಅವರ ಮೂಲಸ್ಥಾನ. ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಸುದತ್ತ ಎಂಬ ಜೈನಮುನಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಹುಲಿಯೊಂದು ಬೀಳುವುದರಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ, ಮುನಿಯ ಆದೇಶದ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಸಳನೆಂಬುವವನು ಆ ಹುಲಿಯನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹೊಯ್ಸಳನಾದನೆಂಬ ಪ್ರತೀತಿಯಿದೆ.ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆಯ ಸಮೀಪ ಬೀಜುವಳ್ಳಿ ಫಾರಂನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಯ್ಸಳರ ವಿಷ್ಣುವರ್ಧನನ ಸಮಾಧಿ ಇರುವುದಾಗಿ ದಾಖಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ದ ಯಾತ್ರಾಸ್ಥಳವಾದ ದರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳವು ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆಯಿಂದ ಸುಮಾರು 60 ಕಿ.ಮೀ.ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿದೆ.
Brief Introduction of Mudigere Town Panchayath:
The Town Panchayath (TP) Mudigere was constituted in 1995. It is situated along Kadur - Mangalore State Highway No.234 at a distance of 30 Kms from Chikmagalure. It has a population of 9667 as per census 2011. The TP has 11 wards and equal number of councilors and 3 Numbers of Nominee Councilors. Mudigere TP stretches to an area of 3.5 SqKms. a young man, Sala, instructed by his jain guru Sudatta to strike dead a tiger he encountered near the temple of the Goddess Vasantika at Sosevur, near by Mudigere Town The word "strike" literally translates to "hoy" in Hale Kannada (Old Kannada), hence the name "Hoy-sala." That legend first appeared in the Belur inscription of Vishnuvardhana (1117), And the famous Holy place Dharmasthala is situated 60 K.M. From Mudigere Town.

ಗಣಕೀಕರಣ : ಮೂಡಿಗೆರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಆಸ್ತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಆಸ್ತಿ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕರಿಸುವ ಕಾರ್ಯ ಪ್ರಗತಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಶೀಘ್ರದಲ್ಲೇ ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇದರ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಇದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ 1990 ನೇ ಸಾಲಿನಿಂದ ಈವರೆಗೆ ಜನನ ಮತ್ತು ಮರಣ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣಕೀಕೃತಗೊಳಿಸಿದ್ದು, ನಾಗರೀಕರು ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಜನನ-ಮರಣ ಪ್ರಮಾಣ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಗಧಿತ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಪಾವತಿಸಿ ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ
Computerisation : Properties within Mudigere Town Panchayath limits have been identified & details have been collected & Computerisation of records is under progress. Citizens can avail this facility to pay property tax shortly. Birth & Death records are available online from the year 1990. Citizens can make use of this facility to register & obtain Birth & Death Certificates.

ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ವಸ್ತು ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ: ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯ 11 ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಗಳಿದ್ದು, 1 ರಿಂದ 5ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯ ಪೌರ ಕಾರ್ಮಿಕರು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, 6 ರಿಂದ 11ನೇ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನ್ನು ಹೊರ ಗುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗಳು ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಬೀದಿಗುಡಿಸುವುದು, ಕಸ ಸಾಗಾಣಿಕೆ ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಯು ಸೇರಿಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರು ಮನೆ ಮನೆಯ ಕಸ ಸಂಗ್ರಹಣೆಯ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ನ್ಯೆರ್ಮಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಲು ಸಹಕರಿಸುವುದು.ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟಂತೆ ಯಾವುದಾದರೂ ದೂರುಗಳಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಯ ಸಹಾಯವಾಣಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರವನ್ನು ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದು, ದೂರವಾಣಿ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆ- 220022
Solid Waste Management:
Solid Waste Management in Our Town Maintained by Powra Karmikas From Ward No1 to 5 And Ward No 6 To 11 Mantained by Our Sourced Employees. It includes street sweeping and waste transportation. Citizens has to encourage the Door to Door collection activities in the wards and pay the service charges as per the MSW-rules for door-to-door collections.
